Watercolor song birds

Hello hello! I’ve had a lot of fun working on these little birds. For some reason they have been easier for me to get the hang of than some other things I have tried. I was inspired by some paintings I saw on Pinterest and then adapted that to the birds I chose. I am enjoying the whimsy look of a looser paint base finished with some intricate detailing of the eyes and head feathers. The Chickadee is from New Year’s and the Tufted Titmouse from yesterday. I have in cue another Blue Jay.
