Hello again! I have decided to pick this little project back up after having neglected it for so long. I have been incredibly busy these past few years pursuing a career in the field of emergency medicine, farming/gardening on the side and attempting to navigate all of the challenges that have come to all if us with the outburst of a new virus. In addition to some other personal struggles which I feel most have to face at one point or another in this life. Our Lord Jesus has been ever so faithful though! He has made dark things bright and has brought glimmers and outbursts of hope to even the most gnarly scenarios. During paramedic school this past year (I will write a post, or several, about that sometime soon) I discovered that I have something of a gift for drawing and also painting. I found myself sketching out a very close likeness of a dog that a dear friend owns this past March, and, as I enjoyed the process of it I decided to continue. I then picked up my watercolor paints again and have been loving this new creative outlet ever since! You will find that I have posted a few pictures of my attempt at sketching and watercolor painting a Bluejay. I have found that birds make me smile both in person and on paper and so I am endeavoring to become good at capturing the likeness of these lovely little creatures. Welcome to, or welcome back to my blog! I will be working on updating it and hopefully turning it into something that can bring you joy when you stumble across and read it.
